Can someone please explain to me why we're having a debate about whether or not it was okay that our elected officials committed a WAR CRIME? Please? Someone? Anyone?

If I'm broke and walk into a gas station with a gun, demanding all of the money in the register...well, I'm not broke anymore. It worked! That makes it ok, right? Of fucking course not! It's no less illegal! And on top of that, it DIDN'T work. In the end, I'm still broke. I've accomplished nothing. I've terrorized some poor guy, spent a little money, and now I need more!
